Congrats to Ben and Megan!
Katie and I have been in Denver the last 4 days, and while we've been having a lot of fun visiting friends, it was Ben and Megan's wedding this weekend that was our primary reason for coming out. From the very first phone call that we had, I knew immediately that they would have not only a fantastic wedding, but that we were a perfect match for eachother!
Here are a couple of our favorite images throughout the day...
Megan was so emotional and so excited the entire day. You could just really tell how incredibly important this day was to her and it made it all the more cool to be there to document it.

Megan's mom seeing her in her dress for the first time.

When Ben and Megan saw each other for the first time at the Botanical gardens it was nothing short of perfect. We found this just gorgeous secluded section of the gardens where they could have a private first meeting. They were both so overwhelmed with emotion.

Megan just showing off in her dress. So beautiful.

A few of our favorite moments during the ceremony.

Can you tell how happy they were after they were officially married? :)

Couple more portraits of the two of them.
I love doing portraits after the ceremony, because couples are noticeably more relaxed afterwards. Megan and Ben were two of the most relaxed people we've shot all year! It was just so fun and easy!

I love this moment of Megan looking at Ben, you can just so see the connection the two of them share.

The reception was at Denver's Mile High Station, and there's some very cool industrial architectural structures right there. We wanted to do something that was totally different from the shots at the Botanical Gardens. It was super dark down there, but sometimes a little light goes a long way!

This idea was inspired by one of my buddies DJ....I had Katie grab our car and pull up behind the couple and throw the brights on. I still used a little off camera flash to add a little fill light.
This was a fun image where I put the camera on the ground and tilted it up and caught just the right angle so that the light from the headlights had a cool upward flare.

Loved this image of Megan reacting to her maid of honor's toast.

Love this image from the first dance, just used the one off camera flash to create a cool image.
Thanks again, Ben and Megan!! We were so excited and honored to be a part of your day. You both are such fun, photogenic people who are so very special. We''re so glad to have two more good Denver friends! :)
Wow, Chris! These images are absolutely stunning. You captured such raw emotions and I am sure the couple will never forget how they felt every time they see these. Amazing.

Awesome images as always Chris and Katie. I really love the images from the car headlights, very cool. And I definitely like the difference between the garden and industrial shots; they're both great and so unique. I hope everything else is going well for the two of you.
