Here's a great quote from Jeffery Gitomer's "Little Black Book of Connections"
"All Things being Equal, People want to do business with their friends. All things being not quite so equal, people STILL want to do business with their friends."
Gitomer goes on to say, "To climb the ladder of success, you don't need more techniques and strategies, you need more friends."
It's a great thought for all aspects of our lives, not just in business, but with family members, sales people at stores, and even the customer service people we deal with in trying to get problems solved. Perhaps another way to think about it is, the more friendly you are, the more people will be drawn to help you and work with you.
